This beautiful deck was constructed by PDRemodels in in Wilton, Connecticut. Patrick Daignault Remodeling designed and installed this deck and stairs to the second floor of this historical Wilton home. The owners did not want to use synthetic materials like composite decking, so this deck was constructed using cedar wood.

Cedar wood doesn't readily absorb moisture - which causes other woods to twist and split - making it an excellent choice for wood decking. Not only that, cedar is aesthetically pleasing, offering a natural wood look for your deck - creating a beautiful atmosphere.
