This beautiful deck remodel was designed and constructed by PDRemodels in in Newtown, Connecticut. Patrick Daignault Remodeling designed and installed this deck and stairs to the second floor of this classic Newtown home. The Underside of the deck is an enclosed space, perfect for a shed or workshop. We also installed water protection on the underside of the deck to keep the tools in the storage area dry. This deck remodel was built using pressure treated decking and composite railings.

Pressure Treated wood is the perfect material for a new deck construction. When wood is pressure-treated, it goes through a process that uses high pressure to force a solution of water and wood preservatives deep into the lumber. This process extends the life of the wood substantially by allowing it to resist termites, rot and fungal decay. Coupled with Composite railings, this deck will be standing for years to come.
